Dear Diary,

You'll be interested to know that I ordered a free sample of that bed that was developed by swedish NASA scientists the kind of bed that you can push your hand into it. It sure is great! although it's too small to push our hands into it you can maybe do a couple fingers. I guess it's pretty hard to get a good nights sleep in zero gravity but the secret scientific research is now in the public domain thank god. We all sat around staring at it and pushing our fingers into it until that got kind of boring. It's interesting because a normal mattress is made of all sorts of springs and padding and whatnot and costs a few hundred dollars but this mattress is just a big block of foam and costs a few thousand. They say that it is "memory foam" which I found that interesting because my own memory isn't that great - although it's hard to know just what the mattress is remembering. Another thing is, we realized that the sample they sent us would make the perfect size bed for a tiny pet such as a hamster.
