In front of our office there is the perfect tree! It’s just about the cutest tree ever and it’s a lollipop tree which is my favorite kind, a perfect sphere of dense green foliage atop a straight trunk. I am sort of obsessed with the tree because it’s so great and also kind of rare to see a tree like that on a busy street in los angeles, in fact it’s the only one for many blocks. So I was hanging out the other day with Bryant and his super-foxy girlfriend Krisztina and we were standing under the tree eating ice cream because it was a jillion degrees and it occurred to us that it would be perfect for a tree-house and not just any old tree-house but a top-secret tree-house! A tree-house that a gazillion people drive by every day but no-one sees because it is embowered deep within the leafy green recesses. A snug peaceful haven, a cozy retreat 16 feet above the bustling metropolis. I’d like to describe my vision for the top-secret tree house but I’m afraid that I may have said too much already! However when it is completed I will invite you over for tea, tea in the tree!
