I was hanging out at my super-foxy friend June’s house and I noticed that she had a Swiffer! I got really excited because I’ve been thinking about buying one myself, I’ve been carefully weighing the pros and cons because I’m not one to just jump headlong into a rash purchase of gimmicky cleaning utensils that I may later regret. I asked her a whole barrage of questions about it and she was only too happy to help out. It turns out that she is quite pleased with her Swiffer even though she bought it for herself and it wasn’t a gift. I was worried that you have to change the sheets all the time but she said you can turn them over and use the other side too. Judging from the condition of her Swiffer you don’t have to change them until they are positively black with dust and cat-hair. It was kind of “gross”. I meant to ask her if it would still stick to the other side in such a sorry state but I forgot. I told her that I had it on authority that the individual sheets were quite effective for household dusting but she already knew that. Then she said she had just thrown out a coupon for two dollars off a Swiffer! She looked around for it but it was nowhere to be found. I tried to hide my disappointment – but I just might get one anyway!
